What makes them GOOD?
Foraged ingredients supplement the menu already dominated by local food, including fish caught by day boats off the nearby coast. Barry Town FC is just one of the local organisations supported by The Gallery. The restaurant was designed with a light atrium to negate the need for electric light in the day.

About The Gallery
The Gallery aims to become the premier place to eat, drink, appreciate art, and design within Barry and the Vale. Our family and staff are passionate about providing quality service in fantastic surroundings, serving exquisite food and drink.
We believe eating out is as much about the atmosphere and overall package as it is about the food. Think about your favourite meal ever and why it is so memorable – it is just as likely to be remembered for the place, setting, service or company as it is for the food put in front of you. We have painstakingly converted the interior of the building into a modern bar and restaurant over two floors with large hanging spaces for art exhibitions. We truly believe that quality is all in the detail, and this level of attention we strive for, in everything we do, as a company and in every service we provide.
We, as a restaurant, are conscious of our responsibilities to the environment and farming in the area. All ingredients will be seasonal and sourced locally, wherever possible, and without compromise on quality we will endeavour to cut down food miles. All wines have been selected with care. They have had to earn their place on our list. We will offer a comprehensive beer list to allow diners to select a beer instead of wine with their meal.
The menu will deliberately be kept short to allow our small brigade to strive for perfection and give each dish their full attention. For too long the Vale has been in the shadow of Cardiff in terms of quality bars, eating places and galleries and in some small way we aim to redress the balance!
