The South London pub has taken giant strides this year, led from the front by its owner who raised money by running a marathon. Where previously about half of the fruit and veg was locally sourced, and the same proportion of meat free range – now customers can enjoy these standards 100% of the time.

About The Roebuck

As the saying goes, ‘whatever grows together, goes together’. Over the years we have built meaningful & productive relationships with our suppliers to create a seasonally changing menu which is both sourced locally and concentrates on sustainability. The majority of our meat is supplied by Gill Wing, an organic free range farm in Eridge, Sussex, less than an hour away from Borough. The remainder is from The Butchers Block, just a short cycle away from our pub.
We serve truly traditional pub grub, scrumptious desserts and Sunday roast with all the trimmings.
